The journey achieves the goal of changing your outlook on life, not providing you with momentary thrills. True happiness comes from being comfortable in your own skin, and from being able to interact harmoniously with the world around you. The path we provide will lead you there, but you must walk the path by and for yourself. For the program to be successful, you need to focus on your internal experience, not something from an artist’s imagination. Only you can provide the correct content to match your life experience. Only you know where you have been and what is relevant to you. The best anyone else can do is to suggest which corners of your mind may be useful to examine. The Acupuncture4TheMind program is a guided experience that looks in all the corners of your mind to make sure that you miss as little as possible. Emotions are funny things, we all experience them, but no one experiences exactly the same feelings as you do. We learn as children to use words to describe our experience so that we can talk about it. However, words are inadequate to capture the individuality of our experience. The words that you use may be different from what someone else uses. This program uses words to direct you. These words may not precisely match your experience. If you find while completing any module that some things have changed but something still feels incomplete, redo the module choosing different examples from your history. It is important to realize that whatever experiential filters you have will show up in your daily life. Although acquired in the past, they influence and direct your current experience. Your current experience really holds all of the necessary elements and examples of what you need to pay attention to in this program. The things that bother you and limit you now have their roots in the past, but can effectively dealt with and dissipated by paying attention to how they affect your experience now. If you cannot find and clear examples from that past that match a topic discussed in the program, look at your daily experience now and see if you find what was discussed. If a filter is active in your life, you will resonate with it now. For example, if you acquired a filter that limits your ability to trust others in childhood, it will show up in your life now as not feeling that you can trust other people’s motives. If you focus on your inability to trust now you will "activate" the filter, and render it susceptible to being re-tuned by the tones used in the program. While going throught the exercises we can miss important things for three reasons. The most frequent reason that the process does not immediately work is that you lose focus on the intended target while the tones are playing. To stay focused while the tones play it is best to talk to yourself about your feelings, reactions, and your remembered experiences. Remember what you said. Say aloud what you wished you had said at the time the event occurred. If you are thinking about a particular person, say aloud and with emotion what you think of them. If you are thinking about yourself, say aloud and with emotion what you think of your own actions and reactions. Talking to yourself will deepen your experience, like “fine tuning” the picture on a television screen or tuning into a distant radio station on your car radio. You should take your time while going through the program. You can stop the media player and take a break before or after the tones play in any of the exercises. If you need to, you can back the audio stream up using the slider control and listen to the instructions again. While each of the modules plays for approximately one hour, there is no rule that says you cannot take as long as you need or would like. The second reason nothing happens immediately is that you have never experienced the state or emotion described. It is part of the limitation of a general program. Not every one of us inherits or acquires all of the negative fields that are covered. If one process seems to have no effect, keep going, others will. Some of the processes are relevant to everyone. Do them all and you will be sure that you will not miss anything. The final reason nothing happens immediately is that you do not tune into how you really feel, or do not recognize something in your current experience as relevant and caused by your being tuned by a particular energetic field. Sometimes we think that we have overcome something that we have just buried or refuse to look at. If we do not look in the dirty corners of our mind, we will never clean them. For your own good, be as honest as you can. There is no one but you going through this program. No one will know what you find or think. If you are honest and willing to examine and remember your experience, you will change. If your current experience reactions continue to be negative after you have completed the program it is because our general program failed to direct your attention to the correct corner that needs to be cleaned. In that case, you should retake the entire course, focusing on only your current upsets and negative reactions. The tones used in this program stimulate meridian points in addition to your ears. The energy that does the work is not in the sound, and simply hearing the sounds will not change the energy of your mind. Sound is the product of electromagnetic energy generated in the speaker. Some speakers generate more of the energy necessary for the tones we use to work than others do. It is the energy generated by the speakers that stimulates the acupuncture points and re-tunes the mind. You must have the correct type of speakers or the tones will not work. You must have speakers powered by a wall socket, or that plug into the USB port on your computer. If your speakers have their own volume control, they are probably ok. Most computers have adequate speakers, so this should not be a problem. The only problem is that you must stay within 4-5 feet of the speakers to ensure that your meridians are properly stimulated. Hearing the tones is not enough, stay within 4-5 feet of your computer’s speakers. If you are using a laptop, put it on your lap, or sit right in front of it. Finally, to receive the maximum benefit from the entire program you should follow the modules in the order presented. Home Page....................
